The rest of our "track off" time . . .

This is video of Jacob performing his duet with Kelly at the Guitar Concert. Jacob played "I am Like a Star" with the guitar behind his head. It really is pretty amazing. The best part was his big finish. He threw his pick into the crowd! The woman who caught it tried to return it after the concert, but Jacob wouldn't let her. He wanted her to keep it for when he became famous and he even offered to autograph it for her! Do we have a rock star on our hands or what!

Kelly and Jacob played in the school Guitar Concert. They did such a great job. They even got Guitar patches for attending every week. Kelly was a little embarrassed to be the only adult (besides the teacher) in the concert. However, he and Jacob have so much time practicing together and Jacob definitely wanted to perform with his dad.

One of our favorite places to visit in Denver is the Museum of Nature and Science. It never fails to entertain the boys for hours on end (despite both Kelly and I being too tired to walk another step!). The boys thought the best part of the Science Museum today was the Funhouse Mirrors. They did look hilarious!

We also saw an exhibit about Gold. They had the largest nugget of Gold ever found in the country and coins dating back to 65 B.C. It really was pretty amazing! Ryan loved the man painted gold and wanted to know if he could be painted too.

Kelly took the boys to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.

The weather was great.

They hiked over 5 miles and returned home dirty and tired (always the signs they had a fun day!)

We had a great time while the boys were tracked off. We had fun dying our easter eggs and decorating them with Spiderman stickers.

The Easter Bunny did a great job hiding the eggs. The boys had lots of fun on their Easter Egg hunt.

Angie,
That footage of the concert will come in handy when Jacob is on American Idol and they want to spotlight his childhood! He did a great job! I'm going to have to ask Sarah if she thinks she can play the violin behind her head...the challenge is on!

Jacob - playing behind your head - wow - you are on your way to becoming a rock star. Your dad always had that goal also. Maybe that is why he is taking lessons with you.
Jacob and Ryan - looks like you did fun things while you were off track. Are you ready to go back to school?

You guys had a FUN off-track time! I can't wait for you to have a girl and do easter eggs with bows and polka dots instead of just spiderman stickers. FUN! Your Martha side will just kick into full gear!

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - PLAYING BEHIHND YOUR HEAD?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME JACOBY AND MEYERS!? YOU ARE STINKING AWESOME, DUDE! You need to send that into some show. How did you figure out you could do that? Seriously. I'm in awe.

RyRy - you look pretty cool on that rock you were climbing. Looks like you had fun.

Kelly - I am proud that you passed child guitar lessons and did well on your recital. Too bad you were shown up by an 8 year old that can PLAY BEHIND HIS HEAD!

Angie - STAY OFF YOUR FEET. Rest lots and get that baby girl here safely.

Love you guys! Missed you lots at the wedding. Love, Cammi

Jacob what a great concert, especially since you were the star of the show. You must get your talent from the Petty's (ask your mom who that is). I wish I could have gone with you on your hike, I miss being outdoors and in the sun. You have a great Mom and Dad who do alot of fun things with you.Take care of your Mom.
