Laynie is 18 months old!

Laynie's newest talent, winking!

Laynie is 18 months old. She now weighs 21 pounds, a big accomplishment for her considering her diet consists mostly of milk and Goldfish crackers! The most exciting part about Laynie turning 18 months old is that she can now go to the Nursery while we are at church. And, she has gone to Nursery two weeks in a row! I asked one of the Nursery Leaders how she was doing and he said she is fine as long as someone gives her a little attention. Oh really? Welcome to our life! Laynie follows me around with her step stool in hand so that she doesn't have to miss a moment of what I am up to. Cooking, teaching preschool, reading a book, or helping with homework, she is right there! She is a really smart, funny girl and we love having her in our home.

That wink kills me! What a funny kid. She is looking so much like a *little girl* rather than a baby! Glad to hear that nursery is going well--what a relief for you!

What a cute wink! Did you make that dress, Martha? She looks adorable. I love her hair. What a big girl in nursery!

Laynie what a doll, great wink.
Can't wait to see all of you, make your list so we can plan what we want to do while you are here.

Mine hits 18 months next week. You are lucky to have a nursery at church. I got chewed out for my baby walking in the pew, dancing to the music and, I quote, "Not paying attention!"

Not a firm grasp on how babies behave?! I can't get the 9 and 11 year old to pay attention even when they are on the altar with him!
