Most Improved Player

Ryan's soccer team had their end of year party this week. Ryan really loves soccer and was so proud to receive an award for the Most Improved Player. He really does try his hardest and has a lot of fun playing soccer. He is already making plans for his next season of soccer scoring a goal and playing goalie!).

Laynie went to the Doctor today for her one year check up. She now weighs 17.5 lbs (7th percentile)! We were hoping she would be big enough to move into her "big girl" car seat, but it looks like we will have to wait a bit longer. Her doctor was really happy with her development, especially that she is crawling and cruising along the furniture. She did say that if Laynie still does not have teeth by the time she is 15 months old we should bring her in for an x-ray to see if she has teeth (WHAT? Is there really a possibility that she might not have teeth?). Let's pray that does not happen!

Go Ryan! We wish we could have seen you play. Laynie you need to start growing so you can wear Emerson's clothes.

Ryan - way to go! Sounds like you are a great soccer player!!
Laynie - you are too adorable. I'm sure there is teeth in there somewhere - just not ready to come in. I love your smile in this picture.

Angie, Kate didn't get teeth until like 13 or 14 months! My dentist says it is better that way. Now she is almost 7 1/2 and hasn't lost ANY teeth. She is sad about that, but once more, the dentist says that is great! She will get her adult teeth when she is older and will be able to take better care of them! That fact doesn't make Kate happier, but I think it is great!

I remember that my other two didn't hit 20 pounds by their first birthday's either. They didn't get their car seats turned around. The littlest is going to be the biggest around here, she has already hit the 20 pound mark at 10 months.

Mine just started crawling and got a few teeth this month. She just bit me today, maybe you should look at no teeth as a blessing.

What a sweet little, light weight peanut! Didn't Jacob have all his teeth by age one? I remember he lost his teeth early, too. Funny the genetic spread you can have in one family.

Ryan, CONGRATULATIONS on a great soccer season. You are COOL!

What the heck about some kids not having any baby teeth? I've never heard of such a thing! Well, she's so cute that I hadn't even noticed there weren't any teeth! How does she chew her cheerios - just gums them?
